Wow, after what has seemed to be the longest 20 months on record, believe it or not we are finally here.
In October 2017, my colleagues started discussions with our Care Provider partners on what would prove to be the biggest single investment by TP Supported Accommodation, for some time. From my first visit to the property on Sunday 14th January 2018 to now, the commitment shown by Plymouth City Council – Adult Social Care Commissioners has been unwavering. they knew from the onset what they needed in the area and we have been able to meet this need in a pretty spectacular way in, Rockville Park.
So after over 22 visits, south with lonely overnight stays, the true testament of the scheme is the fact that we have 9 individuals who from Monday next week will start to move in to their new home, something that we at TPSA are extremely proud of.
I would like to thank all who have been involved in this journey, since Jan 18, for their continued commitment and professionalism throughout. Special praise must go to our Contractors in Whitebrick Design, EC Build, and their sub contractors.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Cath and her team at Lets for Life, although our relationship it very new, the drive and commitment that you have all shown to assist TPSA in getting this project over the line is truly appreciated and we look forward to working together on our very special project.
