We are working with an alliance of housing providers, associations, charities and cross-party politicians calling on the Government to ensure that every person who needs extra support has a home that meets their needs.
The Starts at Home campaign launched in 2016 to ensure that people who need extra support will always have a safe home that meets their needs. This is achieved through supported housing, which provides secure homes and vital services to a range of people in communities across the country.
Over the last 12-18 months we have been working with housing associations, charities and organisations across the UK to call on the Government to ensure that every person who needs extra support has a home that meets their needs.
This is an important initiative, reminding us all that a decent home is the first essential for people who need society’s support to live independent and fulfilling lives.
